Thank you to all you guys who attended our meeting on Tuesday, 5/18! We hoped you all enjoyed the munchies we sent around to "welcome you back" after a hectic two weeks!
On Tuesday, we informed you all of lots of information regarding Relay for Life, our club's biggest event! Here are some details:
Date: June 26th (Saturday) to June 27th (Sunday) <--Yes! This event is after school lets out!
Time: Saturday 11 AM to Sunday 11 AM <-- Yes! This is a 24 hour event! We never stop fighting against cancer!
Location: Santa Anita Race Track
Sign-Up Process

• If you haven't signed up yet, please log on to the website on top
• Search for team HOPE
• Remember, you do need to sign up with a team to attend this event!
This also allows us to keep track of attendees to award community service hours to.

• Please log on to the website on top to complete this mandatory waiver form. All youth attendees need to complete this form in order to attend the event
• You only need to complete and print PAGE 2
• Please turn this in at our next club meeting
Hours
• Hope Can Cure Cancer Club will be awarding service hours to members who attend this event
• If you stay for the complete 24 hours, you will receive 24 service hours
• If not, we will award you for the amount of hours you stay at the event
• If you need to step out of the event at a certain hour, but know that you will be returning for some more fun, just remember to sign-in and sign-out and we will award you for the hours you were present at the event
Team Preparation
• Please let us know if you can help us bring materials to set up our book. We will have a list circling around at our club meetings. Your help and contribution is GREATLY needed!
• Start brainstorming fundraiser ideas for our team, Hope, at the event
Last year, our booths included face painting, selling shoes, money raffles, and lollipop draws.
• If you have seen or know of us some other great, fun, money-making ideas, PLEASE PLEASE LET US KNOW!!
