2011 03 29 Meeting

You've been waiting, and here they are: Officer Applications!
You will need a PDF viewer to open the files. In order to apply, you must be an active member and have attended at least three meetings in a row.
Applications will be reviewed by officers, who will also take a popular vote into account before making the final decision. Candidates for co-president must have been previous officers, and as such will be elected through popular vote only.

Also, there is a SC Chinese Relay for Life going on. If you are interested, let us no.

Finally, if you ordered a T-shirt, please pay and pick them up!

Comedy Night

2011 03 22 Meeting

Please all of your tickets! We'd like to have a full house Friday night. It's not as publicized as we'd like, so please tell your friends. All proceeds go to American Cancer Society, so it's a donation as much as it is a ticket.
Just a hint: If you're looking for an officer position, it would look really good if you are able to sell five or more tickets.
With regards to the situation in Japan, we are not doing anything special as a club, but we encourage you to help out via ASB's upcoming fundraiser or through any other fundraiser.
On a lighter note, feel free to visit the beaches. There is not enough radiation to harm you, but please remember to use sun protection!
Also, information on officer elections will be discussed next week, so please attend if you are interested!

2011 03 15 Meeting

Thank you to those who wore pink in support of Arcadia's staff! Together we can fight these budget cuts.

On other notes, please sell your five tickets. Invite friends, family, and (safe) strangers! If you haven't received yours or need more, please let an officer know, or email us.

Also, if you ordered a T-shirt but did not get yours yet, please get it soon. The shirts are nonrefundable and the money is on the club's account.

Wear Pink

Please wear pink on Tuesday, March 15, to show your support for the staff of AUSD. Due to economic downturns and budget cuts, the district may be laying off up to 66 teachers, nearly a third of which will be from Arcadia High School.

ASB, Gov Team, and SMW will also be passing out pink bracelets in the pavilion Tuesday morning.

Your community needs you! Please support by wearing pink, or better yet donating to AEF!
